| "Girl's Night Out" started as a pub team, something to do before getting wasted Thurs-Sat night on the Viaduct and K Road in Auckland. Much to their surprise, the girls found that many of them were very agile and even quick, and could play the game well. The girls got really cocky around game 12, but soon found that life (and keeping alive!) wasn't so easy. In games 13 - 15 they suffered king hits, plus a whole games worth of refs' inattention to the foul-a-turn tactics used against them. They had 19 cas against, with the apothocary getting only one cure (as many cas as in the previous 12 games altogether). Five of these good time girls died. Ya shudda seen the little-black-dress, pub-crawl funeral. Girls have dedicated their season to the memory of these brave, well, wasted girls, and to hard partying regardless. Unfortunately, the partying has taken its toll, and they often play the 'morning after', none too wisely or well. That good ol'Gothwomin, Zara, will play if the funds allow. And several players are talking about the Wicca, Clara, who might also be hired. |
