Did you know? After 141 games, FC Altdorf has lost 81 players. 46 of them died on the pitch, while the other 35 were retired due various injuries. The list includes 45 Linemans, 12 Blitzers, 7 Throwers, 11 Catchers and 4 Ogres. Did you know? Jugon was one of the best Human Blitzers of his time, with appearances on several top5 and top10 Active and All-Time lists. He reached Legend status during the Lustrian Challenge III, joining team's staff after the tournament. Did you know? FC Altdorf inspired PainState's Blood Bowl Life Lesson #37 during their preparation for the Fumbbl Cup VIII: If you are in prep mode never, ever, challenge Wood Elves on the premise that it will be a low CAS game. This was the cause. Did you know? Jugon, Crack and Lauhdrupf II, the three most successful players of the team, were forced to retire with a combined 5 niggling injuries. Of those 5 niggles, only one was caused by a game action. The other four, courtesy of the LRB4 ageing system. Did you know? Moe was appointed as team's mascot after didn't win a single star point in 30 games, being honored with a custom icon. He got his first points on the 35th and 36th games, and a MVP on the 37th gave him at last his first skill. But this is Blood Bowl, so something had to happen. And on the fourth turn of the 38th game, the first as skilled player, Haekold, il Crudele killed him. Did you know? As the Empire capital, there are many Blood Bowl teams within Altdorf walls, but only a few of them have a good fanbase supporting the team outside the city. FC Altdorf is clearly one of those few, but they are still far from the recognition Altdorf Juvenile Delinquents has across the Empire and beyond it. Oddly enough, FC and Delinquents have never played against each other. Did you know? Coach Nete never allows any Blitzer to enter the field unless the player is completely drunk. Is the only way to ensure they will follow all his instructions. Did you know? Hobbes, Pietro, Shaak'ille... those aren't actually the real names of the players. With the continuous movement on the roster due casualties and funerals, Coach Nete is incapable to remember how all the new players are named, so he just call them with the names of the original roster. FC Altdorf started their participation against Algernon's vampires, EarnestV, with a comfortable victory by 2-0 and a dead catcher, Barry. In second round Coggins and his Khemris were waiting for our hummies, and though the skeleton hordes hunted down Bog'harde the Ogre, that didn't stop FC Altdorf to win 2-1. After two players lost Altdorf crew was pretty furious, and Zombie69 and his Rivendale Fairfellows were in the wrong place in the wrong time. 6 CAS with 3 RIPS, including an AG5 One-Turner elf catcher, leaded to another 2-1 victory in third round. In the Round of 32, FC Altdorf had to face Gitzbang's Voices from the Dark. The result was another CAS-fest (9 this time) followed by a new 2-1 victory. Enar and his orc crew, the mighty Hangover, were the next stop... and it resulted to be the last. Even with the aid of the Count, FC Altdorf was unable to advance another round, and after a thrilling game the greenskins kicked our boys back to home by 0-1. Reached third round of the Forlon Races Qualifier 1. Bxnyc's Khemri Tatia's Legion were the first rival for FC Altdorf. And while Coach Nete was expecting a blood fest against his boys, at the end it was a clear 3-0 victory with only a niggled human, while a lovely AG4 Thro-Ra was crushed to splinters. In second round FC Altdorf played against another team of walking dead guys, this time lemf's Samurai Again Undeads. Humans succeeded at the end with a 2-0, but the victory costed the life of a rookie Thrower. The Qualifier Semi-Finals resulted on a Human battle, with Altdorf facing rackasaur's A Bunch of Goons, though after an extremly even game it looked more as if were tiny elves wearing both teams uniforms: 7 CAS after 145 blocks (most of them with MB) and 9 fouls isn't specialy impresive. In any case, A Bunch of Goons secured a 1-2 victory, ending the GLT run for our boys. Currently playing Forlorn Races Qualifier 3. Amber Lanter Qualifier runner up. Aldar and his bunch of High Elves, Luruar Tigers were the first rival FC Altdorf had to face on the tournament, resulting on a very close game thanks to the usual elf agility and the not-so-usual weak human blocks and fouls. At the end, the humans secured a 1-0. As a good Ulthuan tournament, Altdorf had to play against more elves in second round. This time were some woodies, Yippee-ki-yay, coached by huibertjan. Unfortunately for the woodies, Jugon II was willing to prove that the first round weakness was an exception and leaded the team with a CAS-trick (for a 3/5/1 total) and a 2-1 victory. Ulrik and his fearsome lizards, Dirty Little Dinos, were the last obstacle to win the Qualifier and pass to the final tournament. Sadly, FC Altdorf was unable to stop the lizard hordes and suffered a 1-2 loss against those cool blood assassins, including 3 RIPS against. One was saved by the doctor, but Enchufador and Calvin didn't have that luck. Coach Nete hasn't showed up on Warpstone Open with FC Altdorf. Instead, he went with some tiny elves and paid that offense with a fast elimination. Qualifier XII runner up. FC Altdorf started the tournament with a tough nut to crack, Emphasy with his Hustles Inc, a nine Ogre team. Coach Nete expected either lose the game or lose a good part of the team (or both things \o/), but the humans not only managed to survive but they pulled the game to the OT and a final 1-1, winning the coin flip and advancing to the next round. Unfortunately Shaak'ille wasn't a human, and died on the last turn of the regular time. In second round Altdorf faced xcver's Dandelion Eaters, winning by 2-1 after some woodie-grinding. The final Qualifier game was against Cribbleobblepie's Big Hats FTW, a Chaos Dwarf team leaded by the fabulous and awesome Stompy. And although the humans fought bravely and to the end, the mighty ST6 Bull Centaur and his crew secured a 1-2 victory and the pass to the final tournament. A tournament they won, by the way.
