| The elves of Thornwood have wanted thier own Blood Bowl team for many years now. The problem was that there were too many people who wanted to watch and not enough who wanted to play. Finally, due to some fortunate plunderings of the ruined city of Mordhiem, a Thornwood resident was able to use his new found wealth to entice a few of his breathren to the pitch. Xavier Greatleap placed a new coach by the name of "pacrat" at the helm of his new team. Under pacrat's coaching, the Ravagers have burst out of the gate with a staggaring loss streak which has yet to be broken. Greatleap has been considering pulling pacrat as the head coach unless he can turn it around before Thornwood's fan base dries up. So far coach pacrat says that his players have been preforming well. He went on to state that the lack of player experience has stollen a number of victories from the team. As the season progresses and more gold finds it's way into Thornwood hands, victories should be "waiting in the wings". The biggest problem is the numerous injuries that plague the ravagers.
