Now this is the story all about how Our life got flipped, turned upside down And we’d like to take a minute just sit right there We’ll tell you how we 'came the princes of a town called Bel-Air In west Philadelphia, born and raised On the playground where we spent most of our days Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool And all throwin' round a blood ball outside of the school When a couple of guys said "we’re up in no good" Started making trouble in our neighbourhood We got in one little fight and our moms got scared And said "you’re moving with your coach and apothecary in Bel-Air" We begged and pleaded with them the other day But they packed all our suitcases and sent us on our way They gave us a kissin’ and they gave us our ticket We put our walkmen on and said we might aswell kick it We whistled for a cab and when it came near the Licensplate said "fresh" and had a dice in the mirror If anything we could say that this cab was rare But we thought now forget it, yo home to Bel-Air! We pulled up to a house about seven or eight And we yelled to the cabby "yo, home smell you later" Looked at our kingdom we were finally there To settle our throne as the princes of Bel-Air |
