<p align="left">The members of Suicide Countdown showed promise and the retirement of the team may not make sense at first sight, as the team was able to field a full team of 11 players and all of the players were in full health.

However, Suicide Countdown was playing for the honour of the High Priestess of Khaine who unexpectedly showed up for what would turn out to be Suicide Countdown's final match and the High Priestess was shamed by the teams performance. Not only did Suicide Countdown lose 4-0, but it was against the hated High Elves. The High Priestess was humiliated in front of the hated ones and it took a lot to appease her. Specifically, it took 11 bloody sacrifices to the Temple of Khaine.

As the rumours of the sacrific spread, people were surprised and appalled. The game was widely considered to have been a good show, even the coaches of the teams thought so. Sadly for the players of Suicide Countdown, the High Priestess could not be bargained with as she had been informed of blasphemeous, polytheistic practices in the dark elven Blood Bowl communities, where apparenlty some heathen diety was worshipped alongside Khaine.</p>
