| THE GROTLAND GLADIATORZ It was in the furthest recesses of the World's Edge Mountains, surrounded by volcanoes and the terrifying shadow of Cripple Peak, home of the undead ruler, Nagash, that the infamous Black Orc warlord, Marguk Skullcrusha, formed the Grotland Gladiatorz. He heard rumours of a great Blood Bowl tournament being held in the Dwarven capital of Karaz-a-Karak, promising great riches and fame. Skullcrusha, being the greedy, heartless bastard he is, selected only the most brutal, vile, and powerful Orcs for his team in order to aquire great glory for his tribe. The Gladiatorz fought their way through the tournament, annihilating all in their path, and gaining a massive fanbase with their violent tactics. However, upon reacing the final, they found themselves against the infamous Khorne team, the Bloodblades. The match ended in a horrific defeat for the Gladiatorz, with Marguk being the only survivor in a brutal game. He retreated back to his fortress in the World's Edge Mountains, and it is here where Marguk Skullcrusha's entry in the Old World archives ends. In reality, he has been preparing a new, improved team. One that will once again bring destruction and death to the Blood Bowl field, one that will once again make a fearful legend of the name, MARGUK SKULLCRUSHA Coach: Marguk Skullcrusha Famous Players: Marguk Skullcrusha Top Scorer: Awards: Game 1: The first game of the season for the Gladiatorz, and things got off to a bad start against Chaos team Ultimate Redemption. The 2-0 defeat was not helped by the injury of blitzer Azhug Armsmasha early on in the game. However, the Gladiatorz did retaliate with several hard hits, resulting in several badly hurt Beastmen. |
