The Refugees of Rohan are by far one of the worst teams out there. Collected exclusively from the helpless peasants being slaughtered by Saruman's raiders of the white hand and the wild men of Dunland that accompanied them, they are on the whole starved, dirty, beaten, broken, and generally bad at doing anything. They are known for their complete disregard for the rules (they don't really know them, not being able to read or anything of that sort), and will stop at no tactic to win, or failing that maim someone. The team is immensely popular despite their lack of talent, not only due to their link to the "common man", but also because there is a reenactment of the raid scene at every halftime show, and the crowd is always pleased to see a few peasants beheaded by barbarians on the field. |
