<table><tr><td align="left"><h4>Origin:</h4>In forming the Burning Horde, manager and owner Thul scowered the fiery wastelands to recruit the most brutal of warriors from the local Beastman tribes. Potential recruits were encouraged to engage in grueling combat trials to prove their strength and mettle. Four survived the carnage and were sealed in the armor of the Chaos Knight, forever servants to the Horde.

Backed by his new generals, Thul attacked a major Beastman stronghold that initially refused to answer his call. Their chieftain, a fiery Minotaur called Mulcana, was so impressed with Thul's prowess that the minotaur swore his allegiance, and the surviving Beastman quickly followed suit - laying down their weapons to lend their horns to the Burning Horde.

<h4>Season 1 Notes: </h4>The Burning Horde were winless in their 0-3-1 inaugural season, which was remembered as much for the brutal injuries and deaths as for the actual play. The team led the league with 10 forced casualties and a +4 rating. They played the opposition close, losing all three of their games by an average of 1 touchdown.

However, key injuries in their first game against the Felons ultimately proved too tough to recover from in their following match against the Immortals, putting the Chaos squad into a 0-2 hole. They rebounded violently, mauling their way to a draw in thier next game versus the Desperados, before falling victim to the superior bashing force of the Underground.

Chaos Warrior Kel and Beastmen Blackhoof and Runeclaw showed improvement heading into the offseason, leading some to question whether injured captains Mulcana and Ghol will be replaced for next season. Blackhoof, in-particular, was favored with his first disfigurement - a twisted black claw.
