When rumors of a new Bloodbowl league reached the stone-hollowed walls of Stonehew, it brought with it a whisper of hope. The sprawling tunnel mines had failed to give up any precious gems for many a year, and the once plentiful veins of precious metals were quickly running dry. Realizing the new league could be a veritable gold-mine, the crafty Stonehew dwarves abandoned their search for buried treasures and traded in their chisels for cleats. Forging themselves glinting armor from their dwindling stockpile, the Shieldbearers steeled themselves for their adventure into wealth and Bloodbowl glory. The Shieldhaulers participated in the inaugural Purebowl League, notching up one win and one loss before the League's dissolution. With a taste for professional play and a couple game's experience under their belts they moved on to new conquests and applied for the 145 League's KO CUP XXXX. Sadly they were eliminated in the first round. They are now participating in the Doriath XXXI - 145 Mini League. |
