The Denver Beard Company, faltering hair restoration firm near bankruptcy, is trying to save the business. Are they making an initial public offering? Selling out to private equity? Issuing more debt? No. They bought a failed Blood Bowl club from New York and moved them home to Denver. The Beard Co will join the NBFL and compete in season 6. The Beard Co recruited 14 grizzled retired miners from the silver mines of the Rocky Mountains and strapped them with pads and spikes (budget didn't allow for helmets -- dwarf skulls are thick enough). Remarkably they share a striking resemblance to the old Not-so-Giants of NY! |
