While the world of Blood Bowl is filled with some of the most fantastical and terrifying creatures a person could ever see, amongst these muscle bound Orcs and horrifying Chaos worshippers are the humble human teams. Amongst these human teams is the Middenhiem Mammoths, a small group of aspiring enthusiasts looking to make it big in the sport.

They share a rather similar quality too to many of their other counter parts, being a mix of some of the most blood thirsty and psychopathic members of society mixed in with some genuine sports enthusiasts and brawlers. Lead by the veteran Blitzer simply called "The Captain", the Mammoths are entering the Blood Bowl world more green than even a Goblin and it is to be seen just how much of that is left by the end of their dastardly campaign across the stadiums of Blood Bowl.

The Middenheim Mammoths had gone on a hiatus for quite a long time. Most thought they had simply packed up and retired but to the surprise of many members of the media and old fans alike, the Mammoths suddenly made a re-appearance, with all the same previous members of the team. It was supposed to be their final match and by Nuffle they made sure it was a big one. Using their saved finances over the years, they personally hired the famous Griff Oberwald against a Norse team, who also featured Wilhelm Chaney and Boomer Ezaision.

Not deterred by their long hiatus, the Mammoths took to the match like Wolves to meat and the Norse were quickly dispatched with Griff pulling off lightning plays. Both Wilhelm and Boomer were overrun and the match quickly went to 2-0 with the Norse running in for a desperate touchdown at the end. Wilhelm tried to score but was rapidly intercepted by the Mammoths back field blitzers.

After this match the Mammoths quietly went back to their hiatus, this final match being their last offering to the world of Blood Bowl and Griff walking away more than happy with his funds and knowing he had, once again, carried a team to victory.
