Organized groups known as 'firms', who follow their teams just to pick fights. One of the most notorious firms were the 'HLF', or Hellbound Lunatic Fringe. Fans of the Hellbound Charioteers, this firm was responsible for numerous acts of violence and several large-scale riots. The most famous of these happened at the game known as 'The parking lot brawl with the ball' between the Charioteers and their arch-rivals the Blood Sea Buccaneers. Towards the end of the match, the teams were level at one goal each when the buccaneer's fans started chanting. This proved to be a big mistake as the HLF were there in force. The clash was brutal, with the Charioteer fans tearing the stands apart to form makeshift weapons, rushed at the mass of buccs fans, straight onto the pitch and then spilling out into the streets. 23 fans lost their lives, with another 173 seriously injured. The local militia arrived to put down this riot and ended up with 4 deaths and many injuries themselves. Militia forces eventually overwhelmed the core group of HCF and beat their leaders unconscious and the charioteers went on to win the game. Many buccs fans blame the riot for this. With their leaders either dead or imprisoned many thought this to be the end of the HLF but they are not gone, just changed. Their present incarnation came about when coach BigDaddySorn was remanded to prison for 'dubious book keeping' involving misappropriation of team funds (again). He met with one of the HLF's 'Top Boys' and together they created the new HLF, a blood bowl team of violent ex-firm psycopaths with no real ball skills but the intense drive to smash and mutilate all opposition on their path to glory.</font></div></td><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=74391"><img src="https://fumbbl.com/i/373046"></a></td></tr></tr><tr><td align="center"><input style='width:150px;' type="button" value="Display Fouling Policy" onclick="x=document.getElementById('hide2');if(x.style.display != 'none'){x.style.display = 'none';this.value='Display Fouling Policy'}else{x.style.display = 'block';this.value='Hide';}"><div id=hide2 style='display:none'><font color="880000">Yes, frequently if possible. If your players hit the floor, they are still considered a target. This will sometimes cost us the game as players are sent off but it is all in the name of fun xD - if you are stalling, I will happily gangfoul players until you get the picture. If you do not like this policy, I would suggest looking for another game.</font></div></td></tr><tr><td><img src="https://fumbbl.com/i/372897"></td></tr></div> |
