Dastardly Dorfs is a physical expression of the player's rejection of the stereotypical "cute little dwarf" image that a hieghtist society and league tend to label these genetically superior bloodbowlers. There are no bashful, sleepy or smiley dwarfs here and no player on this side would even consider the concept of ingratiating themselves to some human bimbo who squats in their home. The ridiculous wench would be quickly KO'd and sold off to the highest bidder. From the first game of their first season, the Dastards are enforcing this approach on and off the playing field. Little mention has yet been made of the outrageous profits the team is making, nor of the unrelated but mysterious disappearances of a number of opposing team members from the apothecaries rooms after matches. SWL - SEASON 4 - STARTED IN DIV 4 - Equal 3rd after a disastrous final match that saw the loss of a chance at second place, the first death in the team (the self-centred Egomaniac was not popular anyway) and the forced retirement of Blasphemous to take up a vocal coaching role. The team expects some fines from the league given his early comments from the dug out. SWL-SEASON 4- GENTLEMEN'S PICNIC - After a few games against lesser teams, the Dorf's went down fighting to Coach Ozjesting's BLACK CROWES in the fourth round. Despite forcing OT, too many injuries and too many beastmen ended the match. The lads are on a high however, as this is the best their Coach has ever done in the deadly Picnic! SEASON 5 - BOOK OF GRUDGES - After a shock loss 3-1 to team TENEBRAE, which included a possibly career ending CAS for Esoteric, the Dorfs have declared a GRUDGE against all elves. This public announcement was followed by a less public contract being placed on Coach Chrode, as it was thought that anyone that lucky did not need Knees. SEASON 5 - BOOK OF GRUDGES - After three disatrous games in a row versus lower ranked teams, almost half the team has developed niggling injuries. As it appears that Blasphemous' comments from the dugout have offended Nuffle, and the majority of the other Gods, he has been ritually slaughtered by his irate team mates. After the ceremony, the team confirmed the rumor that all Undead Teams are permanently recorded in the Book of Grudges. Team Captain Dastardly explained it this way "We don't take losses personally, this is business. Our business suffers, therefore the opposing team, its coaches, cheerleaders, fans, their relatives and pets, all suffer. Nothing personal." SEASON 6: For killing Blitzers Perverse (a Superstar) and Slimey (a Veteran), in the one game, Coach Elan and the lads have declared a GRUDGE against Coach Toonie and any team he fields. TEAM RETIRES GRACELESSLY : Game 2 Season 6 - as expected the number of niggling injuries prevented a comeback from this mightiest of teams, with the game held up for 4 turns when the faithful fans realised just how bad the injury toll was. Within minutes of the opening drive, tthe lads walked off the pitch in disgust, preferring to retire after seeing Dastardly fouled and Seriously Injured by disrespectful Undead scum when they did not have enough Dorfs to assist him. Slimey of course took the walk-off badly, quitting the team in disgust ... but he was always a biy icky. Coach Elan said few words, other than "See you in Tahiti" and "I'll be back!" |
