| South Sea City, a glorious Elven city with a towering skyline, was the scene of a mysterious disatser a year ago. No one knows what actually happened, but whatever did occur, it spared no-one. The city's bloodbowl team were on tour in Lustria. Their tour ship, their home for the duration of the 6 month tour, was waved on its way out of the harbor by the citizens, everyone hopeful for a run of results, and exciting stories. Exactly 6 months later, the tour ship returned. No one was there to welcome the team back, and the dock was deserted. The members of the team made their way to their seperate homes, and no-one was to be seen. The team's coach made visits to friends, not one was at home. In fact, no-one was in the city. Not a soul. Not a living elf, but neither a single body to be found. Now, a year later, the city is still deserted. Rich tapestries, huge towers, golden bridges, all of it pristine, but with no creatures to walk the lanes of the city. The bloodbowl team stay here, for they love the city, and they love those that are now missing. They play each week, at their fantastic stadium, but without any home fans. Not one. They play simply because it is all they know, and because, after all, if they stopped, what else could they do? |
