Forming of Remas Round Table
Midas was bored. He had been working as a Captain in the Remas City Guard since he first travelled to Tilea. He may have been paid more than his less able Human compatriots but that was small consolation. He gave orders for others to follow, he had nothing to do.

The ruling Merchant Prince summoned Midas to him late one summer's eve. He disliked being summoned, but answered the call for a chance to see the Great Castle, built on the famous Elven Ruins from the original pre-war colonies.

Midas was enjoying the architecture as the Merchant appeared. Even in this company Midas felt superior, though the Prince paid his living.
'Midas, I have a proposition for you.' The Prince began.
'I dislike being summoned.' returned Midas sharply.
'No doubt, but this is something you will wish to hear. The Committee have announced the formation of a Blood Bowl league here in Tilea. You know the sport, yes? Commoners game I know but you elves seem to play it with a certain grace incapable to most.'
'What of it?' Midas was curious, though he maintained his cold demeanor.
'Well naturally Remas should be winning such a thing. We are the greatest city of Tilea. But you see, there's no money to be had. The Committee feared our superior wealth and have limited our spend. Most teams will be populated by tired old local men. I want something better. Now, there's a fair contingent of High Elves among our guard and the first company of the army. Gather them together and see what you can come up with. I'll continue to pay you your captain's wage plus whatever subsidies I get from the league for actual wages. Think of it as time off. I get to bypass the financial limits imposed and you get an exiting new past-time.'
Midas thought for a moment, his mind skipping back to sitting at the shoddy wooden desk signing death warrants, and his decision was made. 'When do we start?'
