Once during a Great War (hardly anybody remembers today which certain one it was) a barracks commander recognized that his troops suffered from low morale and war-weariness. To get them back on track, he organized a band of young, lovely and patriotic ladies, gave them some sexy jerseys and a ball and ordered any soldier under his command to watch their show. These shows - first of all only once in a month, later weekly - became a huge success and boosted the morale of all soldiers. Soon, other barracks commanders got the news and formed their own Bombshell Squads, as they where named. From this point on, it was only a small step to organized shows and matches between the barracks. But suddenly, the war was over (who won it? - I dunno, but who cares anyway. This isn't what this team bio is about, you know!) and the soldiers were sent back home. Their was no further need to operate the different Bombshell Squads and therefore, his Morality ordered to shut them down completely. They even supported this by the argument, that those Bombshell Squads themselves had led to moral decline (what a prudery, if you ask me!). So, one after another, the Bombshell Squads were fired and those ladies, formerly stars among the soldiers, now were forced to live under the social stigmata of having done something immoral. But when it came to Commander Harper to retire his Bombshell Squad he simply said "Nuts, this is Sparta!" and send his Moralities Officers to hell (Another source states him saying something like "Get your dirty hands off of my Bombshells", but who knows... I mean, noone really knows, if all that ever happened and if so, if it really happened this way. This could all be just pulp fiction... or even worse, a marketing trick to get some spotlights on this team!). His Moralities Officers tried to talk to him, but with less success (if any). Then they told his officers to arrest him and follow his Moralities orders, but guess what, they politly refused to do so, too. From one day to another, the whole regiment was revolting against his Moralities orders. A task force besieged the barracks, outnumbering it by ten (some say by hundreds, but I think that's legend). The task force got order to attack and reestablish the command chain and so they did. Commander Harper himself went down with blazing guns but managed to evacuate his Bombshell Squad through some hidden tunnels. Harper's Rebellion ended that day, but Harper's Bombshells live on to tell the story of his fight for freedom and justice and Bombshell Squads to whomever wants to listen to it (or just watch the young, lovely and patriotic ladies do their show. I mean, if you want to know something about history, you still can read a book, right?). |
