Nuln is one of the city states of the Empire, situated at the focus of four provinces and two great rivers. The city is home to the Gunnery school where most of the Empire’s cannons are forged. It also has some of the oldest and most esteemed universities in The Empire, arguably surpassing Altdorf in this regard, although it is hard to tell. Nuln City is one of the most prestigious Universities in the Empire. The Gunners themselves have a history of high and lows on the Blood Bowl pitch, with several golden periods of dominance that have been followed by periods of mediocrity and underachieving. Following this vein of form is Manager Daudy's own personal feats at a club level within the Southern Wastes League. Daudy was handpicked among many applicants due to his history of domination followed by extreme mediocrity, which blends well with the University's bloodbowling history. The Nuln Gunners philosophy tends to belie the explosive, in your face nature of their name. NCU believe in beautiful blood bowl without the exorbitant expense other Colleges spend, whilst maintaining their status as one of the Big 4. As a result, NCU often scour the Old World for talent from far and wide, represented by our diverse playing list.
