Spiders have a very important role in the culture of Forest Goblin tribes. Small spiders are eaten, while others are kept as pets. Large spiders are ridden as war-mounts and small poisonous spiders are used by the tribal shamans. A shaman will put these spiders inside his mouth so that the spiders bite him on the tongue. The poisons drive the shaman mad but also stimulate the part of his brain that controls magic.

While all other Greenskin tribes worship the twin gods Gork & Mork the Forest Goblins are known to also worship the spider as god of the forest.

Of course, the average Forest Goblin loves Blood Bowl as much as the next Gobbo, and all those spiders certainly add to the mayhem. Throw in some Stikka's and Shaman's and that's it, you're away. Bring it to the Spider god!
