Game 1: Poor positioning, decisive bashing and a key misclick contribute to a 1-2 loss v. m0gw41.

1st game in forever with Slann. Poorly played, lost the tie due to a rookie T8 position errour, but losing the bash game didn't help either (Blocks 14:20 after 5-turn score, 17:29 at the half, 21:48 total once 2nd-half snowball started).

Worse, lost a Catcher Niggled due to misclick blitz - 1 score + MVP = doubles... chose Pass over Guard. Hopefully, that will keep him out of harm's way, altho' it does color the team's direction. Ag 4 + MA 8 certainly could have made the difference in the 2nd half defensive score attempt.

On the plus side, rolled a good Gate despite the loss, just enough for a new Catcher. With luck, will both survive and win next game and get enough for Apo - we'll see.


Game 2: Narrow 1-0 win v. Matthueycamo.

Truly horrendous luck to start, lost the field entirely as early blocks quad'ed out w/ Skulls/Both-Down. But Turn 5 a no-RR leaping 1d Both-Down took down the ballcarrier at the goal line, and a good bounce (and a sudden shift in the bad luck) started a defensive rally. Then, Turn 8, 4(!) Lineapes were BH'd one after the other, and that was the 2nd half and the game.

No skills, 3 spp on the rookie Catcher and 9 on linos, but Apo will help, w/ 20k toward next positional.


Game 3: Narrow 2-2 tie v. Antithesisoftime.

Quad both-downs changed the go-ahead drive to a defensive go-ahead score, but 2 two-Turn scores redeemed the SVD.

Gained a Wrestler and a +MA Catcher, with several more poised to skill, and bought a 3rd Catcher. TV 1170 (+ 60 for MVP lino).
