After witnessing the spectacular failure of almost every Goblin team ever to gain any form of prowess in the Blood Bowl leagues, a number of Goblin professors at Gobbo University took it upon themselves to study the art of Blood Bowl in more depth than normal (normal being none at all). After years of studying the techniques and moves used by other teams, the professors finally produced a number of secret tactics that would beat any opponent that came up against them. However, the years of research had reduced their funding to almost zero and not wanting to risk losing their secrets to others, the professors agreed that the best plan would be to form a team themselves. This would allow them to test and perfect these secret plans and win some money to allow them to further their research. Any fame that came their way would of course be welcome too!
