A region in the south of Hithlum, the territory of Fingon, given as a fief to the House of Hador. This was the home of Húrin and Morwen. Following the Battle of Unnumbered Tears when many of the men of the House of Hador were slain, Easterlings entered Hithlum and took the land as their own. Morwen sent Túrin from Dor-lomin to Doriath to be fostered by Thingol.
