The Yellow Capes Team

High in the Western Mountains are a series of very long valleys, painted thick with ancheint trees and cut deep with flowing waters. At the very north of the central valley is a place known only as the Cape. The Cape is a small mountain town populated by Humans. The majority of the Cape's inhabitants are Hermits, Monks, Pilgrims & Wizards.

Being a mostly self-sufficiant place the towns folk have lived free of the concerns of the Empire, very rarely or even never at all does any Imperial tred so far as the Cape - mostly its ignored or not thought of at all. Over the years the townsfolk have developed a religious culture of their own - worship of the Sun and its Light have become the daily practice.

The Youth growing up having very little to do after they had finnished their daily prayers and meditations, so when the odd visiter came by the Cape the kids were very curious indeed.. one such visiter had a very interesting tale to tell.

TO CUT A LONG STORY SHORT... they boys learnt of the Blood Bowl sport and formed their own team, seeking adventure, fame, glory, riches and beautiful Elf maidens they set off in serch of a League! Before the many boys left their home town (their numbers in the hundreds), each of them were presented with a Blessed Cape by their Priests in the color and styling of their Lord Sun God's Yellow, and thus the 'Yellow Capes' were born.
