In the farflung future all of bloodbowl is controlled by a few elite organizations. The NAF, BIBA, and RARG. They have been twisted past their initial purposes into puppets for an unknown group. Everywhere they control is a place where bloodbowl is played in name but not spirit, for the game has become boring.

The few places not under their control are sites where Nuffle has shown his wrath through natural disasters so improbable they can only be his work. These places have become lawless wastes so inhospitable that even the undead complain about them. In this future a secret war is being fought in Nuffle's name to save bloodbowl. A cabal of wizards are one such group fighting this war. They have begun to send teams back in time to bloodbowls prime to save the world of fantasy sports. Their plan is simple save as many past trophies as they can and destroy the NAF, BIBA, RARG and any other organization before it can be corrupted.

The Jungle Jammers are one such team of magically enhanced angry apes given unstable compounds and a simple command.
