When Trumpkin Gitsneaker was approached by Pieter o'Doobleskule to help form the Podbowl, he felt it was finally his opportunity to show those well-established Podium Broadcasters that he was one of the big boys. His hard-fought campaign of relentless casting, three times a day (after meals) was far more than other casters. While some might offer the criticism that his casts were of inferior quality, Trumpkin as very much in the Quality-Over-Quantity team. Pooling his (comparatively large) share of the All Bowl All Over cast (ABAO), he managed to hire the services of philsophically sympathetic elves. (The fact they're down on their luck and almost so poor as to be in poverty is coincidence) Quantity over Quality (QoQ) are ostensibly a team that, while not personally exhibiting the idiom of their title (largely due to almost constant injury), nevertheless understand the reasons why having an enormous amount of something is objectively better than having less of something. Arguably the so-called quality of the item can be obtained by measuring the overall standard of a collection, but, as this team is eager to demonstrate, the reverse is irrevocably true in virtually all cases. As stated earlier, the only reason that the members of the team (or 'Qoqs') do not appear in larger numbers is that for some reason people tend to feel the need to inflict murder on them upon meeting them. Although a relatively new and young team, the QoQs are eager to earn their place in the world of Blood Bowl, if not by measured and calculated strategy then certainly, assisted by coach Trumpkin, by a thorough "Throw it at the wall and see what sticks" approach. |
