| A collection of Famous Dane's take to the field! Game One - 0-1 vs Gorc Challengers (Orcs) First game, and what an intro for the Famous Dane's! Horrible injury dice leave 2 dead and 2 seriously injured! However, they also gave pretty good, and managed to hurt the Gorc's enough that they had to retire. A smarter coach would probably have retired the Famous Dane's too, but NO! they shall continue! Game Two - 4-1 vs = Groovy Grass Blowers (Halflings) What a reward for sticking with it! A smashing of some poor halflings, including 2 blitzes, and a massive victory. Both blitzers leveled up, and the thrower too. Now just need to save up money to buy a new blitzer... Game Three - 1-1 vs = Props Are People Too (Orcs) Can't always just play against halflings unfortunately, as we meet orcs again. This time our armour holds up well, and despite god awful play in the first half, we manage to steal the ball for a draw in the second half after a good pitch invasion, and even almost win the game. Game Four - 2-1 vs = Bashlords (Ogres) Can meet ogres though! Was expecting to roll over them, killing snotlings left right and centre, but in the end I was lucky to get the win. Only did one cas, when Peter MNG'd a fellow ogre, but a nice stall out in the first half, and good dice in the second got me the win, and now super star rating! Game Five - 3-0 vs = Ryazan Plaguebringers (Nurgle) Played against Zoltaen and his mighty blowers. Went very well, although mainly because the guy doesn't seem to care about the ball and just wants to kill all menz. Well I whooped his arse, and although I got a few injuries, the most significant was from a rock from the crowd, not his players :-) |
