Double Ds
Skills Pending [L] Shambling Undead

The Double Ds are newcomers to the BBQBBL. They were formed by the Commissioner of the BBQBBL on a very constrained budget. The team consists of a horde of rookie Zombies supported by a pair of rookie Skeletons.

These players are what’s left when you take what you scrape from the bottom of the barrel, put it back into another barrel and then scrape out what’s left in that barrel. These players could not get signed by any team in any league and thus were forced to sign up for the Double Ds. However, to avoid extraneous costs, the Double Ds’s management decided to pay the players with leftover food instead of cash. The main issue with this is that… Well... Skeletons and Zombies don’t eat food.

Thus, to avoid having the Double Ds act as a black mark on their career, all the players have decided to play under various food-based pseudonyms and wear cardboard cutouts on their faces of said food to avoid being linked back to their time with the Double Ds later on in their career. That’s funny… Most of the players won’t last long enough on the pitch to be signed by another team.
