Team rules: Each player is randomly assigned one of the 4 chaos factions when they are created (except Minotaurs are always Khorne). Certain 'thematic' skills are assigned to each faction, as listed below. The players skill differently to usual, as follows (with the intention of injecting some randomness into the mutations and making each player more thematic and distinctive): Skill roll: 6,7 or 8 (non-double) - player must roll on their faction skill table and take the corresponding skill. If the player already has any of the skills in the table, shuffle the remaining skills down to fill the gaps (any roll higher than the lowest skill counts as a 6) double - player can take a double skill as usual, including any mutation or skill from another faction list any other roll - player can take any normal skill, except those that are on other faction lists and cannot take a mutation +stats - can be taken as usual; however, Khorne must take +ST; Nurgle must take +AV; and Slaanesh and Tzeench must take +MA or +AG, when they have the opportunity Khorne: 1 - Juggernaut 2 - Horns 3 - Frenzy (substitute for Multiple Block for Minotaurs) 4 - Mighty Blow 5 - Claw 6 - Choose normal skill, including any skill or mutation from another faction Nurgle: 1 - Fend 2 - Dirty Player ;) 3 - Foul Appearance 4 - Tentacles 5 - Disturbing Presence 6 - Choose normal skill, including any skill or mutation from another faction Slaanesh: 1 - Very Long Legs (player must then take Leap, if they roll a double on a later skill) 2 - Shadowing 3 - Disturbing Presence 4 - Claw 5 - Prehensile Tail 6 - Choose normal skill, including any skill or mutation from another faction Tzeench: 1 - Pro (to represent the subtle magic touch of Tzeench) 2 - Big Hand 3 - Extra Arms 4 - Two Heads 5+ - Choose normal skill, including any skill or mutation from another faction |
