[R] Lizardmen
| An idea from an episode of the podcast Three Die Block, a team with a krox and all skinks. First tie came against a halfling team, when I scored in the very last round of the second half I only had three skinks on the pitch, and had sadly gotten the King Krox badly hurt in the very first round (a result of foolishly leaving him in the middle of the pitch to be pounced upon by the dreaded treemen. Fourth game, after getting Block on the Krox, saw the Entourage win a sweet 2-1 victory against a fellow Swedish coach from Jönköping with a brand new elf team. The Krox was feeling mean and green and put the hurt on the pointy-eared opponents. It was a nice game, and a fair win. Lost a skink (still costs 60k to replace, so it'd be good if I didn't have to replace one every game and rely on journeymen) but got Sprint on two of the little guys... Fifth game destroyed the team; played orks, and on a 1d block from a non-mighty blow lineman the krox was KILLED... predictably, the little guys were massacred after that, but miraculously without any permanent injuries other than the aforementioned kroxigor. The team members took a vote and unanimously decided to retire gracefully after the loss of the Lizard King. The coach will strongly consider a more conventional lizardman build next time, possibly even utilizing some sauruses. |
