Secrets of the Deep Woods


It is not often the mighty Zoats move from their ancient dwellings. Only when the world is at risk, or their woods at risk from their ancient enemies, the goblins.

How and why coach Aslak has lured these beasts out of the woods is a mystery. He styles himself as "the ancient", but none know his origin. Some claim is a chaos champion who has enslaved the Zoat race, and by gathering them into blood bowl teams, will be able to infiltrate all the corners of the known world before anyone notices!

Others still that he has saved the life of the surpreme ancient, and the race as a whole owes him a great debt.

What the truth is, we will never know for sure until either the Zoats agree to speak to us, or until Aslak reveals the details himself. Neither is likely.

What we can tell of the Zoats is that they are sure footed beasts of massive size. Easially capable of crushing even a mighty black orc in single combat.

What everyone is asking themselves is, can they play ball? Those giant clumsy fingers so used to swinging the traditional Zoat weapon probably wont be able to handle the delicate ball. In fact, we have heard rumours that the commisionaries have ordered more balls to be produced, sure that they will break some in their games!
