Miami BallHawks Fight Song Love and honor to Miami Our college old and grand, Proudly we shall ever hail thee, Leaping all over the land Alma mater now we praise thee, Opponents wallow in dismay, Love and honor to Miami, Forever and a day. Seasons Season 31 – Inaugural Season NonAQ Division 5/3/1 A lackluster start to the season rebounded into an impressive record, enough so that we qualified for a post season bowl match. Time and effort went into developing our rookie trio of Blitzers, which made us severe defensive threat, as we did not allow an opponent to score a touchdown in four consecutive matches. We received an invitation to the Wonderbra Wonder Bowl, facing the ITBA Tinkerers, in a match that highlighted this team’s youth and inexperience against seasoned teams. All in all, a respectable showing for the season, and we are poised to begin Season 32. Season 32 FBC Conference 6/2/1 Miami came hard out of the gate, racking up three straight victories before going on to finish the season with only a single loss to conference mate the Duke Blue-Green Devils. Though the loss to Duke would cost Miami the conference title, the #1 defense in the nation proved to be a favorite in the polls, as Miami was invited to a playoff spot for the Nation Championship. Miami overcame the heavily favorited U-Dub Elfskies and moved on to the big dance against the #1 offense, TCU Horned Rats. A hard fought match ensued, and both teams gave it all out on the pitch, but TCU left with the championship. Undaunted Miami returns for Season 33 to right the wrongs of the prior seasons. Season 33 FBC Conference 4/1/4 A disastrous season, plagued by injuries and poor performances. An all around disappointment for the program, as they managed to top the division thanks to a better head-to-head record, and then went on to lose three of their four Out of Conference matches. Somehow managed to do well enough in the Coaches Poll to receive an invitation to the Killer Lite bowl, suffering a loss at the hands of Duke. Season 34 FBC Conference 3/4/3 In what could have been an impressive season Miami sink into a lackluster complacency, earning themselves 4 ties. Received an invitation the the inaugural Imperial Colleges of Magic Wizard Bowl, losing 2-1 to U-Dub. The affect of this season are compound, as several players have now graduated, leaving this program in a new phase of rebuilding. Season 35 FBC Conference 4/2/4 A surprising season, by all accounts, beginning with a squad of new recruits who matured into capable players in time for Miami's bowl appearance. All contributed in making this season a success, and possibly a good starting starting point for another run at the championship. Season 36 FBC Conference 1/5/4 Likely what some would call the worst season for the program to date. Too many matches which were wins that the BallHawks let slip into ties, and some hard losses handed out during interconference play. Miami's BloodBowl program when into a hiatus after this season before reemerging for Season 39.
