Retired [R] Elven Union

The Swiftfoot Comets were founded after the recent Averlorn Swifts High Elf team snubbed all Elf Union teams in a press conference, citing them as both amateur and poor. Alathon Vael, an ex elf player extraordinare, just so happened to be listening in a tavern and enraged, immediately set out to form a team.

The Comets were organised fairly quickly, with young and old recruits alike joining up, reigning from Loren, Ulthuan and even Naggaroth. Some recruits were either a failed or retired member of a previous elf team while the newer, younger ones were aspiring Elf stars. Naturally, most of these were assigned to lineman duty but those talented were made as catchers, throwers or indeed blitzers. Alathon himself being the captain, was of course a blitzer.

It is to be seen how well the team manages to form and even gain acknowledgement from the Averlorn Swifts, their supposed bitter rivals.
