[L] SLICC Half-Orc
| Long before becoming a blood bowl team, the Bone Crag Bandits were a gang of outcast and outlaw half-orcs based in Bone Crag Mountain, who made a meager living from petty theft and robbery. All of that changed one fateful day... The bandits were down on their luck. They had tried to rob a merchant caravan which turned out to be far too well-guarded, and many of them had died in the attempt. Ragged and dejected, they returned to their mountain base only to find a strange-looking halfling wandering around near their cave, who looked some kind of eccentric merchant. The bandits jumped out and tried to get her to hand over her money. "Oh no this simply won't do", said the halfling. "I don't have time to get robbed, not today". The bandits, puzzled, asked what she meant. She explained that she needed a new team because just that day her old team had refused to play for her any more, and she was in the mountains to see if she could maybe find some goblins to play for her, maybe snotlings even. As she was about to wander away from the now thoroughly confused half-orcs, she looked back at them with a strange look in her eyes. "Say, you lot might make a better team than goblins", she said. "Fancy becoming Blood Bowl players?" The bandits stood in confused silence. "There's money in it for you", she said, waving a gold coin at them, "and I'll bet it'll be nice not to live in a cave anymore" "We'll do it", said Aaron, da Cunnin' One. The bandits didn't know what blood bowl was, but it sounded like there was good money involved, and robbery had been getting them nowhere lately. "Excellent", said the halfling, "I'm Nelly Oakleaf, and I'll be your coach from now on! Come on, let's go!" And so the Bone Crag Bandits became a Blood Bowl team. They still didn't know what Blood Bowl was or how to play it, but they've got determination, and that's got to count for something, right? After the death of boss Murk, Aaron Da Cunnin' One has become the new team captain. |
