The Great Ogham Druids play their games at 'The Ogham Bowl', a blood bowl pitch surrounded by the great stone monoliths of The Great Ogham. It is believed the stones are a source of supernatural energy that can strengthen the will and determination of the native Blood Bowl players, however the mediocre results of the local team in no way support this claim. On the first full moon of each year, The Great Ogham Druids arrange a ceremonial game of Blood Bowl to mark the occasion. What they regularly neglect to tell the opposition however is that the druidic Albion Truthsayers are duty bound to sacrifice one member of the opposition to appease Nuffle, in the hopes of securing good fortune for the season ahead..... The sacrifice is yet to have the desired effect on the team's fortunes. |
