[L] Pirates of Sartosa (CIBBL)

It's been quite a while since Baron Vilegaz truly felt... well anything really. Life out on the Great Ocean had grown tiresome. Vilegaz had this bloodlust that could not be fulfilled with the occasional pillaging or ship battle. Though he had heard of Blood Bowl many times during his stays on the mainland, he had no interest in what he believed was just a silly child's game that the fools of society had convinced themselves was the next coming of Sigmar. That was until his Fleetmaster Seafists beat some poor oaf into a pulp for accidentally hitting him with a pig-skin while that oaf was playing a pick-up game of gutter ball. Seafists brought that ball back on board, and after much discussion on how the game was actually played, Vilegaz's crew played their first game of Blood Bowl on the deck of their Flagship, Naga's Omen. Vilegaz watched from the stern of the ship, and after seeing a few of his crew member's skulls get smashed to smithereens, something awoke inside of him that he hadn't felt in a long time... joy. Vilegaz instantly joined in on the next game, and within minutes found he had a knack for deftly maneuvering past the opposition and coordinating his team through quick gruff shouts, something he had much experience with navigating stormy seas. Vilegaz knew that after that game, there was no going back to the boring life at sea. He picked some of his best crew members, and immediately applied to whatever tournament would accept them, hoping to carve a bloody path through all teams that opposed them. |
