[L] Eight Peaks
| "Who the dickens is Gunnar Snurrisson", you ask? Only the greatest visionary yet to appear in the modern age of Blood Bowl management! His shrewd eye for acquisitions opportunities* and Dwarvish gifts of persuasion** made him sole proprietor of the Karak Eight Peaks municipal Blood Bowl franchise, a lean*** and thrifty**** outfit with a proud legacy, ripe for rejuvenation!***** But to bring out the full potential of this once-and-future all-star team required a visionary unencumbered by stale assumptions and conventional thinking - Gunnar was that man!† His nonpareil mind conceived a development strategy unheard of in the annals of Blood Bowl history, a way to nimbly avoid the myriad problems posed by quarrelsome primadonnas††, high-risk long-term investments††† and opinionated hooligans†††† that so bedevil many coaches and managers. The first pillar of this strategy was to get as far away from Karak Eight Peaks as possible, so no overly-sentimental Ultras‡ would try to interfere with his method. Thus came Gunnar Snurrisson to the OSBBL. The second pillar of Gunnar's strategy, as brilliant as it is controversial, is to put his money not on the glory-hunger of fickle meatheads, but on professionalism and Dwarfish civic pride - in the persons of the honorable employees of the Karak Eight Peaks royal mail service. For a reasonable fee and given sufficient inducements‡‡, they deliver anything, anywhere, guaranteed. Moving a single paltry ball a few dozen yards is no problem. They stop for nothing, neither rain nor snow, nor gloom of night.
