From the untamed jungle to the clean cut grass Wonderful creatures from tiny to tall Taking the ball to the end zone pass by pass Under the moss the enemies of the union shall fall Lore: In Lustria, there has to be some ancient defense spells or something that raises the whole jungle to resist the invaders. Treasure hunters call it the Green Hell, places where the very jungle comes alive and attacks you. According to the legends told in the coastal taverns the first phase is the Mossling wave. They literally spawn out of the moss of the jungle floor and start throwing stick, stones and the remains of the unfortunate at you. Fighting back is desperate even thou the Mosslings are small and easy to catch and stomp, they are hard to snitch and will eventually pop back up. The hardy and stubborn fortune seekers that trample deeper in the Green Hell have told the Mossling are just a taste of what the Jungle has to offer. Then comes rain and along with it the alluring Spring Spirits, which try to attract the lusty members of the expedition and drown them. While the rest of the group is paying attention to the Spirits and try to prevent their comrades from stepping in the trap they are ambushed by the Bullfroggies. The frogmen jump on the distracted guards from the lush vegetation wearing skull helmets and bone armor. They maim their victims with primitive weapons before escaping back in the Jungle. The raining ceases after a while and the surprise attacks stop, the expedition might think its good time to press on. But then the scenery starts to shift and the foliage rustle. From the bushes feroucious Bearkin come roaring and clawing whoever they get their in paws on. Those who fled the slaughter to save their lives and tell tales back in the coastal town, say they were chased by the very trees of the forests. wip wip wip Sometimes referred as water deities by Lustrian dwellers, the Spring Spirits are elusive and nimble creatures. They are said to be both beautiful and dangerous to any man who dears to wonder near a water source in the jungle. Spring spirits have the ability to shift their shape in various ways as well as manipulate waters and lighten one's soul. These are valuable assets when it comes to Blood Bowl as they may adapt to almost any situation and boost the whole team around them and still be hard to land a solid hit on. Short Snouted Jungle Bears of Lustria, what they lack is size they make up in toughness and PAW! power. The hide of the bear is tough as the scaled skin of a Stegadon and the claws can break the bones of a Cold One with one strike. All that muscle strenght is a burden on the skeleton of the bearkin and once injured the bones tend to break. The Bearkin have received the blessing of Tepok (or so the tales are told in the Lustria Temple cities) and thus are quite humanoid-like whenever they wish to. https://fumbbl.com/p/race?id=7927 team logo made with the help of AI https://creator.nightcafe.studio/studio |
