Proud members of the Bare Bones MNF league! Week 1: Started off taking a pummelling at the hands of some skeletons leaving 2 dead and 2 si. Got 2 positional points toward a Vamp but only 60k. Next, I managed to pull off a tie against some zombies earning another positional point and made enough to buy my 1st Vampire. During the 3rd game, the vampire led the team to a 3-1 victory scoring all 3 TD's and recordign a cas and a completion. Last game of the night I took on my 1st team with a positional.....another VAMP! A close game whole way through, my vamp scored, but Celas tied it up. I got a lucky break with some skulls and managed to put a thrall in the endzone getting the 2-1 win... The Vamp also had a last turn completion and received the MVP. Week 2: Started out well with a good performance earning a tie. With that Tie, I was able to afford my second vampire. Rolled unto 2 more wins later this night with Vladislav gaining Pro and Vladimir giving a 13 SPP performance to up his total to 14 and gaining the Block skill. Signed off with 7 games palyed (4/2/1) and 78 points (in 4th place). Week 4: Only able to paly one game due to lack of opponent, and eneded up playing some khemri with 2 mummies, coached by BMM. 1st half i played some good D and made the Khemri score on turn8 after catching some breaks. However, after that, i ended the half with a vampire SI'ing a mummy, with no regen, and then delivering a boot to the head to the other, resulting in a severe concussion rendering him a mng with -av. Second half some bad ball playing by me and superb effort by BadMrMojo left me with 1 TD tying it up, but then surrenderingthe winning TD last turn with my better vampire sitting out. Was a great game! Week 5: PLAYOFFS! The Ko tourney started, but missing the vital 8th player i managed to get to play Gortex's 3 mummies. Not good for me. I managed to score in turn 5 1st half and Bh'd 1 skele along to way (my fireball missed 4 skeles and proned another off kickoff), but i took a beating and was down palyers. Gortex got the ball easy after a touchback and hurt more guys and scored at the end of the half. 2nd half started with 4 players for me and some bad pickups by his ag3 skele. finally the skele got the ball, and despite my best efforts scored on turn8, it was a good game, too bad i was eliminated. Overlord Vladislav I is the most skilled player in BareBones as of when my season was ended with 48 spp. |
