This (ultimately unsuccessful) attempt at the unification of Faith and Bloodbowl was abandoned after a pyrrhic victory against brutal Dwarven opposition in their very first game.

With both Blitzer/Captain Mars and Loki (the Tricky Lineman) making a quick return to the heavens as a result of ill advised one dice blocks and two more players (the inspirational catcher/prophet Mohammed amongst them) missing the next game through injury it simply wasn't possible to continue, even for these players of unquestionable faith.
