However, their coach managed to revive some unconcious goblins for the next kick-off, so they remain in the tournament. <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=710727>Second Match</a>: 6/1/2-0/0/0 (3-1) vs Mitzufuss's <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=159026>Flyeaters</a> Another strong outing for the Gore Eaters; we again cleared the pitch by late second half, finally managing to knock-out the last lizard (a saurus)after three turns of group stomping. We suffered our first SI, but scored our most casualties ever! Failed to knock the vermin out of the tourny despite having the ref the whole second half - one kickoff saw only two rats fielded, but that was as close as it came. <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=713867>Seventh Match</a>: 2/1/1-0/1/1 (0-0) vs Rijssiej's <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=158978>Wollige Watjes</a> Facing a small Pact side, we forewent any ball-handling whatsoever until we had cleared the field... which didn't occur until our last turn. Suffered our first death (R.I.P. Cleaver), but picked up a Dirty Player to increase fouling efficiency. <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=713960>Eighth Match</a>: 0/0/1-2/3/1 (0-1) vs Slick's <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=158115>Smashem Kids</a> Slick took us to the cleaners, dealing out our first defeat with lessons in chain-pushing to boot (prone players can apparently be chain-pushed... off the pitch for extra fun). Never again shall the Gore Eaters suffer so. R.I.P. Consumer of Corpses. <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=714026>Ninth Match</a>: 3/1/1-1/1/0 (0-0) vs SpookyKid's <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=157963>Collateral Dammage Inc</a> Played in true Pools of Blood style, the ball was only ever given any attention as a token afterthought to the turn's foul. Despite the best efforts of both sides, casualties were not excessive. <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=716751>Tenth Match</a>: 4/3/0-1/2/2 (2-2) vs Rijssiej's <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=158978>Wollige Watjes</a> Managed to clear the pitch by late second half in this rematch, but the dastardly use of smelling salts by the opposition ensured his unconcious players recovered for the final drive. Again, the Wollige Watjes managed to score kills - two this time (R.I.P. Impaler, Consumer of Corpses II). <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=718952>Eleventh Match</a>: 2/0/0-0/0/0 (0-0) vs Rijssiej's <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=158978>Wollige Watjes</a> PATHETIC! You'd think that when neither side has any subs available, carnage might ensue, but you'd be wrong. Apparently I'd enabled the 'always roll 1s' option when I hosted the game, since neither side managed to a) cause a casualty by fouling, despite trying almost every turn or b) score a touchdown, despite several attempts. |
