Envious of the fame Gutter Runners seem to achieve on other Skaven teams, this lot have decided to show that they are just as good without the fast little pests. Just to spite the team for trying something different, Nuffle decided to "bless" our first skill roll with ageing a niggle on the scorer of both of the team's touchdowns in our debut game. At least we got off to a good start on the pitch with a 2-0 win. After much deliberation, the team has also decided to reject all Storm Vermin who attempt to join the team, based on the fact that Storm Vermin often think so much better of themselves. So from now on, the team will consist of linerats, throwers (they're almost linerats, just with two extra skills), and the team's Rat Ogre, mostly because if we turn one down, we lose the linerat we sent to give it that message. And what a start for the Rat Ogre, clocking up 3 casualties in one game without any nasty skills, and only failing one Wild Animal roll (much to the crowd's, who love to hear him sing, disappointment), and only falling over once. MNGing a +ma Werewolf, MNGing a Flesh Golem in the second turn, and finally BHing a Zombie late on. I'm shocked to finally have a Rat Ogre that is actually useful, although he couldn't do the ultimate and finally be by first Rat Ogre that rolls a double and get himself block, he just have to settle with helping the other little ratties around him with Guard. Finally, in our fourth game, we conceed our first touchdown in a 1-1 draw with DonTomaso' Orcs. Hard fought on both sides, with some amazing dodging from both sides. I have also discovered something odd with player names, after the death of my third linerat with the name "Pause" in three games, i'm beginning to feel that the name is cursed. However, being stubborn, i will keep calling my players that until one of them lasts for more than one game! I now have my first Top 10 Player, Passclaw has become the No6 Top Scoring Skaven Thrower of All Time, with 7 touchdowns. Only 7 more to go to get him joint top! And now, Pause IV has lasted a game unscathed! Despite a Giant Tree's best efforts to put him in the Casualty box, he stayed on the pitch (albeit stunned most of the time).
