Plundering Pirates

The 'Plunder Pirates' was started with a rounding up of some rookie players. Led by Bekmeir, the quarterback, the team started off on a bad start. The first game the team was unprepared and suffered many injuries from the Skaven team of 'Petals'. Bekmeir completely smashed his non-throwing arm. Marco, a lineman, lost his life. The team pushed on. The next match they had the team was unable to compete in, with their captain Bekmeir missing the game, they avoided getting smashed by 'Gentlemen with Claws' and conceded the match. The next four matches were a success. The Pirates defeated 'Deep Down and Dirty', 'Mori Edhel', 'Orctown Murderers', and 'Mountain Blast'. The team won over the dwarf team of 'Mountain Blast', but suffered serious injuries. The trio of bltizers that were making a name for themselves were all fouled by the dirty dwarves. The team was forced to let the trio go and replace them with the available players. It was this the team's catcher Azari was starting to shine. Despite his niggling injuries he has been the main reason the 'Pirates' were winning their games. Sadly, just when Azari's career was starting to take off, a game against the 'Moonwalkers IV', Azari was killed, torn to pieces of the hometown crowd of the necromantic's fans. The manager, saddened by the constat loss of life of his team, seriously considered retiring the team. Before he had a chance to make that decision, they were challenged to a match by a rookie wood elf team. Playing two men down, they played hard, and it showed. The wood elves spent their greater part of the match on their backs. The 'Pirates' allowed three touchdowns, the wood elf's game of passing was too much. The team, knowing very well this could be their last game, focused their effort and despite knowing it wouldn't win them the game, managed to score a last minute touchdown. The few fans that showed up were treated with an amazing touchdown.
