Despite the team name, the Dwarves of SRAVM are actually gentlemen who like to partake of the fine arts of Bloodbowl, chasing the ball around in an attempt to pick the ball up, throwing it and seeing it fall backwards over their head in a fumble, and getting into space only to find their sloth like pace has allowed the enemy team to surround the potential receiver with 8 players.

As a last resort, they tend to have a go at blocking, but generally won't resort to fouling.

Unless they get fouled first.

Then all pretense of gentlemanly conduct gets chucked in the bin and the team might just live up to their name!

I expect the team to get beaten, especially by Elves and skaven, but so long as they improve, don't get nailed too much, and get some luck every now and again, losing isn't so bad :)

Well, 6 games without a win, and the team has stalled somewhat thanks to taking more injuries with every game. So much for AV9 eh ;) ? And when the Apoth fails as well, you just gotta shrug and get on with it. So SRAVM go into their next game a little beaten up, but they'll win one day. Just not next day, with no runner :(

Sheesh. Despite what the luck score says, opponents luck last game was astounding. 1DB, GFi, pick ball up, score? No problem. No RR needed. Same thing again? Sure. And suddenly the game was lost because I fail 4 pick ball up on the trot... grrrr.

Oh well... there's always next game :)

At 1/2/6 things are getting a bit tedious now in the constant losing stakes, but so long as the team continue to grow and find a way to score (maybe another runner...) I'll stick with them, as Cas seem to be thin on the ground. Gotta watch out for fouling swine though, that's for sure. Then knock their fcuking heads off and shove 'em up their asses.

With an awful losing streak well underway, I'm playing this team purely out of don't give a shit mentality now. My Coach rating is shot to hell, and I don't really care anymore, truth told. All this team can do is block. They can't pass, run with the ball, or anything else, and when the blocking don't work, the options run out.

Options ran out before the first game with SRAVM as far as I can recall. Short, round and very crap should be their team name.

A turn around in luck - played a Chaos team, whupped them good - unfortunately they were an UNRANKED TEAM! Arggh!

D'oh should have checked. Anyway, played ANOTHER chaos team... that was a nasty one sided affair, with their butts served on a plate with relish. If the opponent hadn't conceded it might have destroyed what was left of their team, the way the dice were going. I hate one sided crap liek that, even when it's for me. I don't get it enough, but it makes you feel like you never really had anything to do with the game, and the dice did all the hard work...

See the game against 'Gaunt's Ghosts' for an example of 1 sidedness... </b> I could only sit and watch, then pick my players up to be pow'd knocked out/badly hurt again and again. I killed two - 1 apo'd the other, well, he had it coming. When games are so 1 sided it's difficult to say "thx for the game" or "good game" cause you don't really mean it. Instead you would rather reach over, slam your opponents' face into the board, and rearrange the back of his head with...

The 3rd of the current losing streak cost me 3CR! What.. the ... fook..?

*rolls eyes* 2/2/12, this team has cost far more than they've given back, but I'm gonna stick with 'em, simply cause I never had a team over 200 TR.

Even if they are completely shit, and I don't know how to use them.

It gives cherrypicking coaches the impression they are great players when they go on about how I left the ball carrier uncovered and so on.

Ball? Who cares? I just want to SQUISH HEADS! ;)

Team was butchered by Zerkalos' Nurgles Rotters "Brown Bunnies" with 2 deaths, 2 Serious Injuries and 3 Badly hurts (thats not including the fouls which dropped more guys). Lost an MVP, (St4 Guard longbeard) and my blocking was pretty useless, as were my fouls - diceraped in other words, but first win for ages - made easy by the fact the Rotters ignored the ball.

2 wins on the trot suggests I am finally starting to figure Dwarves out. After so long with this team at losing and seeing my Coach Rating plummet, thoughts of retiring them have gone and I hope I can get enough cash to ditch the nigglers.
