The Black Tower is a forboding and inhospitable fortress on the northen most borders of the Dark Elf lands. It lies in the centre of a vast ice-laden plain, where the sun never breaks through the clouds. Even by Dark Elf standards the fortress is grim, and those that are sent there as it's garrison know that they are at the furthest outreaches of the empire. As a result of their isolation their cruelty and boredem has made given them enormous motivation and stamina, as they pursue every activity and prey that they can find...the desire to maximise their evil pleasures is insatiable... One of their most favoured past times is playing Blood Bowl and hence they have become good at the game, as their is little in the way of work to do at such a remote fortress as the Black Tower. Eventually the garrison requested royal permission to travel east and become a pro Blood Bowl team, the permission was granted and the Black Tower Nighthawks were born..... ........ slaves at the Black Tower were elated on hearing this news....
