| The wizard and merchant Suleiman had fared in the western reaches and spectated the intruiging game of blood bowl. He brought back the tales of the violent, yet elegant game to his town, especially of the talents of the squat dwarves and their wondrous war machines brought onto the field. As the refined and tasteful people of the east didn't share his fascination with this barbary, he had a hard time finding players for his team in spe. eventually he bought a troupe of midgets, put them on a diet of bull testicles, lard and porter and poked them repeatedly with big sticks until they had developed the physical and mental traits suitable for this game. Unfortunately this team was all but killed in their 5th match or so, but Suleiman, never short of cash whipped up a new troupe of midgets - this time meaner, fatter and more dirty playing than ever.... |
