| After a beginning streak of utter defeats, deaths and niggling injuries the team turned to the ruinous forces for guidance. A quick prayer to Khorne for a good block here and there, some to Tzeetch for a GFI roll, some to Nurgle for those almost non-existent armoursaves and some to Slaanesh for dodgerolls. Everyone had their path to damnation. One particulary unlucky game, against elven team Taunus Elfen, the team was finally fully turned. Suffering the humiliation of rolling double 1's more than once on a critical Blitz and generally getting disastrous dice proved to be the final straw. No elf should have to suffer this much ridicule. Heeding the call of their new masters, promising a better and successful future in store for them, slowly the team improves and adapts. Burn Athel Loren to the ground. Already the tides are turning, having scored their first victory the team draws new recruits. Ceelmaw of Nurgle and Gherade, follower of Slaanesh are the first of the new generation of players. The newfound strength of the team is attributed directly to the four major chaotic entities, each player finding their own way of paying tribute. The ruinous powers are fickle, though they seem to be favouring the team for the time being. The great Ironroot, an old gnarled tree devoted to Khorne was accepted into the teams ranks after a crushing victory over Get Shreked!, although the victory cost Molly the Stubborn an eye. Such is the price for serving the gods. After recieving an aboundance of income, both monetery and experience, the team began to feel a bit out of class in Academy. They had too much and too many to fit in with the crowd. Newer grounds must be broken in order to appease the dark gods. Thus the team entered, after some hesitation, into the unranked divison. |
