The Obsidian Fang Originally known as Obsidian Smile, this team found they were cursed by nuffle. After several matches in the minor leagues they found their players would die at the slightest punch by the feeblest goblins. The team disbanded at the behest of the number 1 blitzer Gloominous Doom, unused to giving up however he got together another bunch of the most skillfull dark elves he could muster. To overcome the curse Gloominous Doom sacrificed an entire halfling village in Nuffles name, all the while praying for guidance as to rectify this terrible curse. The answer came to him in a vision. The witch elf Nicnivin interpretted this vision proclaiming that Obsidian Smile was too "nice" a name for such a treacherous team, the curse would be lifted if Gloominous Doom changed it's name to The Obsidian Fang. The lifting of the curse would come at a price however, as the dark elves increased in ability they were destined to face humiliating defeats one after the other until they had proven themselves worthy in Nuffles Name.
