| Of course, we could never consider a match against our social inferiors. As high elves, we are serious about this - we will not play any team which does not contain at least ONE lord, count, or noble of some sort on the roster. A brief team history: After our first match, a 3-0 concession (!) Cornelius Lentulus Marcellinus, realising that his were the surest hands, retired to an advisory position. Hail, Consul Lentulus! Our third match was against a human team of very dubious nobility - we would have had to decline, were it not that their coach, Malthor, is a member of the local nobility here on FUMBBL. One has one's obligations...of course, the common scum he was trying to teach the noble art of bloodbowl to were absolutely hopeless. Our fourth match was played while the coach was ill...and, half way through, very sleepy as well, from medicine side effects. It would be best forgotten, I think. |
