As Lord Stretch coached his teams players died. Too many players died. This weighed heavily upon our hero. As such, he realized he could not part with his dead players and sunk his personal wealth into a new team. A team not of intelligence, but of happiness (and less guilt). Yes, he has raised his players from the dead, thereby leading them in death as in life. Poorly!
