| Pathogenesis began with a necromancy experiment in what used to be an abandoned mine underneath Raccoon Village. But something went dreadfully wrong and the experiment, the T-Virus, escaped. It ravaged the village, converting the inhabitants into bestial mockeries of their former selves. On some few it went farther, mutating them horribly or turning them into hideously powerful and deadly foes. Fortunately for the world, several inventive magi managed to contain the virus, rendering it mostly dormant, although nothing could be done for those who had previously been infected. Those villagers have stepped forward to play Blood Bowl in the hopes that with enough fame and fortune they may secure their destiny. |
