<p align=left>The Nuln Old City Eagles were originally the Nuln Eagles formed in 2950. The franchise was bought out and taken to the Lustrian Blood Bowl League (LBBL) for three years starting in 3000. Then the Old World Football League (OFL) was formed. They still had a tremendous fan base in Nuln and were ready to make a deal to move back when the Nuln Nighthawks made a late night arrangement with the Nuln Counsel preempting the Eagles' return. <p align=left>The fans were not happy, and they put serious pressure on the commish . Eventually, a spot was found for them in the Old City - which worked out well as it represented the vast majority of their fan base anyway. <p align=left>Most commonly referred to as the Roost, the Nuln Old City Eagles' stadium has several nicknames following the occupations of their many fans. The rather large group of money lenders like to call it the “Mint” and the blacksmiths tend to call the stadium the “Forge” The stadium is located in an extremely bad part of the Old City, about as far as you can get from the relative safety of the Keep. <p align=left>Rumors run deep that the chairman of the Nuln Old City Eagles is none other than Enkel Utherwitz a notorious and vicious loan shark, but if so he is definately acting as a silent partner to Coach/Chairman Henreik Reinz who is an upstanding member of the Nuln Royale Universatie and former member of the Nuln Council (this brings the rumors of affiliations with Utherwitz into serious question). |
